70 Edition 4" x 4 3/8"

I'll have to admit that winter on the Central Coast of California is more colorful than the grey and wet days of our SE Alaska rainforest. I visited family and friends there last year; field flowers everywhere! I picked these and out them on my painting desk. It wasn't long before they inspired this painting.
