The waterway to downtown Juneau is via Gastineau Channel. In the summer it is chuck full of gargantuan tour ships, float planes, kayaks, private and commercial fishing boats, all coming and going. The variety of fishing boats are the most fun to paint I especially like the home built boats built by creative fisherman like the one I painted here.
